Job Title: Truss Assembly Lead/Supervisor

Location: Green Bay, WI

Salary: $22-$26/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Join our dynamic team at a leading manufacturer in Green Bay, WI. We specialize in producing high-quality truss systems for residential and commercial construction projects. As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a dedicated and skilled Truss Assembly Leader to join us in maintaining our commitment to excellence.

As a Truss Assembly Leader, you will play a crucial role in our production process, overseeing the assembly of truss components with precision and efficiency. Your leadership skills will be vital in guiding and motivating our assembly team to meet production goals while upholding our quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of truss assemblers to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
  • Train new assembly team members on proper techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the production manager to prioritize tasks and meet daily production targets.
  • Monitor workflow and address any issues or bottlenecks to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct regular inspections of finished truss components to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold safety standards and minimize hazards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and shipping, to ensure seamless coordination and workflow.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in truss assembly or similar manufacturing role.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting purposes.
  • Flexibility to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 1:00 AM) and occasional overtime as needed.
