Sales Account Manager

Summary:

Our client is a global leader in vehicle brake and suspension systems that is looking to add a Sales Account Manager to their team. The person in this role will be responsible for the overall relationship with customers and serve as the central point of coordination between cross functional teams both internally and externally.   

 

Responsibilities:

·      Identify and develop new business opportunities with customers.

·      Work with other company’s functional teams to develop and implement strategies to expand the company’s market share.

·      Act as the primary point of contact for the customer and work to ensure customer satisfaction

·      Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with the customer

·      Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve long-term growth and profitability with OEM customers.

·      Work closely with the Plant, Logistics and Key Account Manager for demand planning and supply chain teams to forecast sales volumes and ensure that production and inventory levels are aligned with customer demand.

·      Work closely with cross-functional teams within the company, including engineering, operations, quality and Key Account Managers to ensure that customer requirements are met and that products are delivered on time and to the customer’s specifications.

·      Support the customer and the engineering team for working with the customer to develop and engineer new products that meet their specific requirements.

·      Ensure that products meet customer quality standards and addressing any customer complaints or issues that arise.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering.

·      Two (2)+ years of experience in KAMs in global company.

·      Knowledge of negotiation, presentation, organizational and multi-tasking techniques.

·      Flexibility to work early or late schedules to accommodate customer time zones.

·      Five (5)+ years of experience with an automotive manufacturing company

·      Knowledge in reviewing strategies to increase revenue

·      Must be able to oversee sales growth; evaluate sales reports, often looking to capitalize on a particular product or service in the marketplace.

·      Master’s degree with a major in business administration, engineering, or a closely related field.

·      Experience in Automotive Industry, preferred in suspension systems.

·      Oversea assignment experience/cross-cultural work experience
