Why I Chose IMPACT Management Services

I would like to tell you about my first recruitment experience in the USA. I’m European, have over 20 years of experience in recruitment, and consider myself very fortunate to have worked closely in partnership in Europe, the USA, and Australasia supporting many of the world’s most recognized companies as a recruiter.

Recently, the roles reversed and I found myself in the market as a first-time candidate. I talked with numerous companies, of all sizes, and frankly, I must admit I was dismayed by what I was seeing.  The candidate experience was low quality, the notion of setting and managing expectations was an alien concept, and there was a fundamental lack of research into the individual: the you. Zero attempts were made to identify what youcould bring to the table, or what the upside of bringing youon would be for the organization. In a nutshell, I went through the candidate experience feeling like no one was really interested in me.

I could have screamed! We are in the people business! Having so much recruitment experience and having worked with the best, I was incredulous at what the candidate experience was becoming.
