Job Seeker FAQ
How soon can I start working?
Job availability changes on a daily basis. Once you’ve completed an application, you will be considered and offered appropriate positions based on your preferences and skills.
What is involved in the application process?
You will need to complete an application through our jobs site that interests you. You will be asked to provide your complete work history as well as your preferences for shift, type of work, and location.
After the application is complete, you will be contacted by a recruiter within 24 hours for a brief phone screening. As long as everything lines up with one of our clients, you will be scheduled for an interview while you’re still on the phone. In the interview, you will have the opportunity to discuss what vocational skills you have and what you are looking for in your future career. The Area Leader will discuss the specific skills you have and find out more about your experiences in job-related settings.
Once you have completed the interview, you will participate in basic safety training and may be asked to complete some computer testing to determine your skill levels.
How often should I contact your office after an interview?
We encourage all of our candidates to use our check-in line to maintain availability. You will be asked to leave your name, phone number, and what type of work you are interested in. We realize that it can be difficult to check in on a daily basis, but it’s important we keep in touch.
What if I am not interested in a certain position when it is offered? Is it all right to turn it down?
We want to place you with a position that meets your expectations. If you are uninspired by a position, you are free to decline. We will not disqualify you from future opportunities and will continue to offer positions to you based on your skills and preferences.
What if I am on an assignment and decide it is not for me?
We realize that sometimes you will not know a position is a good fit for you until you’ve been on the job a few days. If you are on an assignment and find you would like to do something else, contact us immediately. As with any relationship, communication is key. We expect open communication from our field employees and pride ourselves on returning the favor. You are an important part of our team, and we want to make sure your needs, wants, expectations, and goals are met.
What do I pay for your services?
As an applicant, our services are totally free to you!
